What if your approach is costing you what you want?

This came up a few times over the past few days inside my coaching conversations.

Expectations.

Setting the bar high.

Focusing on big, far-out achievements.

Go for the Gold, right? It’s gotta be the way to do great things!

It could be.

But for many of us, women especially, holding high expectations, setting the bar high, and focusing on big, far-out achievements can leave us

– feeling like failures

– feeling like we only ever ace one area of our life

– always racing, never rested

The list goes on. And what’s missing from the list might be the most important thing: often, this approach costs us what we want.

We’re so divided we don’t have the focus to really create what we envision.

We’re so tired we don’t have the energy to be as creative and innovative as we could be.

And we’re so focused on the big goal we miss the smaller ones we’re achieving along the way, leading us to doubt our abilities.

My question for you today is: are you feelin’ me?

If you are, and if you are in this–you’re not alone.

And if you want help, want to do things differently, there’s another way.

If you want to explore what that other way could be for you, you can apply for a conversation with me here.
